RHODIUS’s history looks back on almost 200 years of tradition, with the company now managed in the 8th generation by the siblings and managing partners Frauke Helf and Hannes Tack. With over 350 employees, we are one of the largest medium-sized companies in the Vordereifel region.

THE RHODIUS HISTORY
Traditional and innovative – RHODIUS has been making its mark in the heart of the Brohl valley since 1827 and the eighth generation management is now successfully bridging the gap between tradition and innovation without forgetting the family business’s values.
Establishment of Gebrüder RHODIUS in Burgbrohl by the four brothers of the entrepreneurial RHODIUS family. Acquisition and use of the carbonated Fellbuhr mineral spring to produce the artists’ paint lead white.
Establishment of RHODIUS Mineralquellen: acquisition of exclusive license rights for the production and sale of Pepsi-Cola.
Start of production of mineral water under the RHODIUS brand and expansion of the company to become the leading manufacturer of soft drinks.
The best in high-end design: RHODIUS Gourmet impresses restauranteurs and diners with an elegant bottle shape, balanced mineralisation and fine bubbly carbonation. The perfect accompaniment to fine wines and dishes.
RHODIUS becomes the official partner of the cult brands afri cola and Bluna.
RHODIUS is carbon neutral. As a family business, we continue to drive our commitment and sense of duty with regard to climate protection and have made the entire value chain for our mineral water brand RHODIUS carbon neutral.
RHODIUS invests over 50 million euros in the construction of a new logistics centre in line with the latest sustainability standards.
