Transparency and Accountability at RHODIUS
As a regional family-owned business, we take environmental, social, and economic factors into account in our business decisions. We view sustainability as a long-term commitment that we are integrating step by step into our business processes.
To systematically document and further develop our sustainability initiatives, we voluntarily prepared a sustainability report in 2025 based on the requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). In addition, we have registered with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and are working on developing science-based climate targets. Once the independent review is complete, we will transparently publish the corresponding targets and progress.
CSRD: Transparency regarding our sustainability activities
We want to present our sustainability activities, goals, and progress in a transparent manner. That is why – even though RHODIUS is not currently subject to any legal reporting requirements under the CSRD – we have voluntarily prepared a sustainability report and had it audited. The report compiles information on our sustainability topics and describes the current status of selected measures in areas such as climate, energy, water, and resources.
SBTi: on the path to validated climate targets
The Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) supports companies in setting climate targets that are grounded in climate science and designed to help limit global warming. We have registered with the SBTi and are currently working on developing science-based climate targets.
As part of this process, we are analyzing our greenhouse gas emissions and developing a long-term reduction pathway. Once the target development and validation process is complete, we will transparently publish our climate targets and progress toward them.
Our Code of Conduct
We have established a Code of Conduct for Suppliers to guide our business relationships. In it, we outline our expectations in areas such as integrity, human rights, working conditions, and responsible business conduct.
The Code of Conduct is based, among other things, on international standards such as the ILO’s Core Labor Standards, the United Nations Guiding Principles, and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.
Through these requirements, we incorporate relevant sustainability and compliance considerations into the selection of and collaboration with our business partners.
